Memorable Sporting Moment: One particular football match when I used to play in goal for my middle school, in which the ball hit me in the face really hard about 10 times, thus ensuring victory.

I have been with HSP since the autumn of 2008. Previously I had been working for the University of Hertfordshire’s HR department, having recently moved to Hertfordshire.

I am responsible for keeping track of the Partnership’s budgets, which can be tricky given the variety of funding streams coming in and the large number of projects in which we are involved. But I cope. I work with our Executive Board and help with the running of Board meetings and so on. I am also responsible for a lot of the general admin and finance tasks involved in the running of the Partnership.

As well as the above, I am involved with the research and monitoring side of our work; this includes: keeping track of the progress of the Active People Survey and manipulating and analysing the results it produces, collating monitoring data from some of our projects, and staying up-to-date with various pieces of research related to sport and physical activity.

I also try and keep some of the more temperamental computers in the office running smoothly, with some limited success!
