Memorable Sporting Moment: Cycling coast to coast across Mexico. A good few years ago now, but was the hardest physical and mental challenge I have taken part in so far.

I’m a new member to the team having just completed my first 2 weeks. Before joining HSP I was working in education here and abroad. I was also a swimming teacher while living abroad working in a large school working with kids of all ages, and set up private lessons throughout the city to groups of swimmers between the age of 4 and 14. I’m hoping that having worked for Sport England for many years as finance and grants manager has given me a bit of an insight to the set up at HSP. I have 2 kids, one still at school who is very involved in many sporting activities in school and throughout the county we live in, so I am appreciating first-hand how much the CSPs contribute to the develop of young people in sport.
