Likes: Winning, Extreme Sports (although I still haven’t tried that many, Yet!), being outside in the fresh air especially when it is sunny, Playing Netball, Skiing, Thunderstorms and Twirls (naughty but nice).
Dislikes: Losing of course! rice, rude people, and angry male drivers!
Couldn’t live without: Music, physical exercise! chocolate and bottled water (unhealthy obsession I think!).
Memorable Sporting Moment: Snapping my Achilles tendon playing netball, I have never felt pain like it! The fear of Skiing down a mountain for the first time ever and being taken out by another skier and snowballing to the bottom – must have been funny to watch.
I joined in June 2007. The Herts Sports Partnership team is extremely dedicated and I am really looking forward to the development of positive lasting relationships and working with likeminded people. Especially those who are competitive!
I enjoy all physical activity (Geek I hear you cry, and that is something I am happy to admit too!) Although there is one big exception, long distance running (I get so bored and distracted! – sorry to all those keeno’s), I especially enjoy playing netball and if you ever need to locate me I will no doubt be playing, training or coaching on a court near you!
I have recently set myself the challenge of trying out new more adventurous sports (Brave, I know!) and hope to convince the rest of the team that they want to join me in these adventures too.
