The winners for the Primary School of the Year are:
1st - Roman Way First School, Royston
"Roman Way First School has the ethos of a school fully immersed in sport and provides a wide range of opportunities with amazing development of the depth and breadth of activity and involvement over the past 6 years. The staff are inspirational and keen to develop their knowledge and skills, they have attended virtually every possible SSP training session and hosted many too. No opportunity is missed to host activities for local schools and to work with the SSP to run events thus ensuring that 100% of pupils take part in regular intra and inter school sport."

2nd - Skyswood School, St Albans
"Skyswood has opportunities for all ages and abilities it offers high quality sport in curriculum time and has an extensive extra curricular sports programme including: basketball, dance, football, netball, tag rugby, cricket and tennis. The school has an extensive number of school club links which they are very proud of. "
3rd - St Thomas More RC Primary School, Letchworth
"St Thomas More RC Primary School are willing to give anything a go! They support leaders from local secondary school gain experience, deliver a wide range of activities within and beyond the curriculum, were one of the first schools to take up the School Club link ambassador programme, enter all competitions and festivals, in fact I am struggling to think of anything they don't do!"
