Sport in our county relies on these volunteers to ensure clubs can run effectively and matches can take place week in, week out. We recognise that without their tireless efforts sport in Hertfordshire would not have grown and developed to where it is today.

What do we mean by official?

An "official" is any person who is responsible for controlling a sporting acitivty. For example, in football the official is the referee or assistant referee, in badminton it’s the umpire.

What do we mean by administrator?

An "administrator" is someone who is usually involved in running a sports club or organisation.  For example, a club chairman, secretary or treasurer
