2008 herts community sport summit
On Thursday 24th April, 2008 the inaugural Herts Community Summit took place at The fielder Centre, Hatfield
The exciting FREE event evolved in light of the success of last year's Club Seminar and the birth of 10 Community Sport Networks across Hertfordshire. The summit invited delegates from every sector of the sporting environment recognising the continual and courageous efforts that are made by many to develop sport in Hertfordshire.
Included on the evening were:
- Keynote address from Michael McGrath, adventurer and the first disabled person in the world to have conquered both the North and South Poles.
- A variety of workshops tackling some of the key issues facing your sport, club or organisation.
- A range of exhibition stands, including organisations offering a mixture of services and support.
For full details of the Summit programme please download the Summit Leaflet.
The Herts Sports Partnership would like to say a big thank you to all of those that were involved in the event. We hope that those that attended found it an enjoyable and useful evening!
