Multi-Activity Sessions
Knebworth Sport Clubs are offering fully inclusive multi-activity sessions every Tuesday morning, 10.00am-12.00pm for individuals with disabilities at Birchwood Leisure Centre, Hatfield. Activities include Badminton, Goalball, Boccia and Table Cricket. A fully qualified coach will be there to support participants.

New Boccia Club, starting 21st February 2012
A new Boccia club has been set up by Special Olympics East Herts. The first session will be on Tuesday 21st February at Amwell View School and Specialist Sports College, Stanstead Abbotts, SG12 8EH, and cost just £3 per session.

It aims to offer young people with special needs the opportunity to engage in a variety of exciting and innovative sports & arts activities. The event has been awarded an Inspire Mark by the London 2012 Olympic committee in recognition of the unique values and opportunities it hopes to achieve.

2012 Wheelchair Tennis Taster Camps, Gosling Sports Park, 28-29 April 2012
Bookings are now being taken for the Tennis Foundation’s wheelchair tennis development camps, which will be taking place at eight locations nationwide throughout 2012. In Hertfordshire, the camp will be taking place at Gosling Sports Park on 28-29 April 2012.
Run by qualified LTA tennis coaches, the camps provide two days to get to know more about wheelchair tennis, whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who wants to develop their skills on the court further.
