Broxbourne - 2012 Grants Schemes

The Borough of Broxbourne has two grants schemes for 2012. The Olympic and Diamond Jubilee Small Grants Scheme funds community events (including street parties) celebrating the Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Games.
The other scheme is more directly relevant. The Olympic and Paralympic Hopefuls Scheme allows local athletes who have the potential to compete in future international competitions to apply for up to £1,000 of funding to contribute towards the cost of equipment, kit and training.

North Herts Council - grants for athletes and coaches

North Hertfordshire District Council have two rounds of sports grants for talented individuals and coaches each year. The grants are open to North Herts residents and are administered by Sport North Herts, the community sports network (CSN).
Applications for the latest round of grants close on Wednesday 1st February at 5pm.

Watford Council workshop subsidies and coaching bursaries

Watford Borough Council have put together a support package for clubs and coaches in the Watford area. The funding is available to individuals who are 16 or over, and who actively volunteer in sports clubs in Watford that are affiliated to their sport's governing body. Their club must be registered on the Active Watford website: www.activewatford-csn.org |
In partnership with Herts Sports Partnership, the Council are offering subsidised workshops to support clubs working towards Clubmark accreditation and to develop the skills of their coaches.

Watford Borough Council's bursary scheme offers coaches in Watford sports clubs the opportunity to apply for a subsidy to support the development of their coaching qualifications.

Community Grants Programme for Stevenage and Hertsmere!
The scheme is open to Community groups, registered charities, companies limited by guarantee, social enterprises or Community Interest Companies (CIC’s) provided they can prove that they benefit residents within Affinity Sutton Housing. Grants are available from £300 - £5,000. The next round of applications closes on 17 Sep at 5pm.
