back into....rugby
There will be a floodlit veterans' rugby tournament starting in the new year, aimed specifically at over 40s and with the emphasis on having some fun!
Eight local clubs will play (short!) pool matches before having semi-finals and a grand final at the end of the season.All of the matches will be played mid-week under the lights at the splendid Old Albanian RFC facilities.
Each team will have practice sessions at their own club, to remind themselves of recent law changes and how to hold a pint! There's no cost involved - it's simply an opportunity to have a game witrh some old (and new) friends without having all those young guys running rings round you!
