support for talented athletes  

The Herts Sports Partnership is committed to supporting the development of young talented athletes who live in Hertfordshire.  Since 2004 we have funded a sports science programme to support over 400 athletes from junior county squads representing a number of sports.

In October 2006 we launched a new programme to provide individual support services to elite young athletes. This programme will now replace the county squad programme for 2007.   To find out about the Elite Athlete Support Programme click on the link to the left of this page.

We are also working to set up the Herts is Ready for Winners scheme which will provide much needed financial assistance to our young talents.
