Grange Paddocks Leisure Centre, operated by Everyone Active on behalf of East Herts Council, is offering a week of free taster sessions for their new “Drop a Jean Size” Small Group Training course to help customers get in shape for summer. The free tasters will take place from 6th-13th March for those aged 16+.
Comprising of weekly fitness sessions, the Small Group Training course will help participants lose weight, get fit and become leaner and more toned in time for summer. Each session will run in a circuit format with individuals working at each exercise station in turn. The easy to follow moves are designed to target the whole body, and different progressions will be provided to cater for all fitness levels.
“We are delighted to be launching our new Small Group Training course to help the local community get fit and active for summer,” says Everyone Active General Manager James Tovey. “The classes are seriously energetic, loads of fun and are delivered in small groups so you’ll receive top quality instruction and attention, as well as motivation and support from others taking part.”
Eric Buckmaster, East Herts Council’s executive member for health and wellbeing, said: “This is a great opportunity to help everyone get fitter for summer and hopefully kick start a healthier lifestyle. As well as feeling better on the beach, being fitter and leaner is good for our overall health.”
Booking in advance is essential for the free taster sessions. From then on, the six-week course costs just £45 for members and £54 for non-members. The course will officially commence on 20th March, and morning, evening and weekend sessions will be available to suit all.
