Herts Sports Partnership supports the development of sport in schools by working closely with School Sports Partnerships, local clubs and local National Governing Bodies accross the county.

School Sport Partnerships (SSP's) are 'families' or 'clusters' of schools that receive additional funding from the Government to come together to enhance sports opportunities for young people in school.Each partnership is individual, however they are all set around a similar model which involves a series of locally linked schools centred on a 'hub school' or 'specialist sports college'.

There are 450 partnerships across England encompassing all maintained schools in England.
