At a strategic level, the Herts Sports Partnership is a vital sub regional coordinating body that supports local sport and aims to influence and inform national and regional government and other key decision makers. Through our work we aim to: 

• Influence the policies and plans of partner agencies for the benefit of sport, sports people and physical activity. 
• Provide an effective communication channel between government agencies and ‘grass roots’ sport.
• Assist the government and Sport England in the delivery of its sports strategy locally.
