This course is designed for existing ETTA Level 2, 3 and 4 coaches who wish to transfer to the UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC) endorsed coaching qualifications. It takes account of knowledge and skills that coaches would have gained from their ETTA qualification.

There are two parts to the course, which will take a full day, followed at a later date by an assessment day. ETTA Level 2 coaches must attend parts (1) and (2) of the course, complete the internal assessment tasks and then take the practical assessments. ETTA Level 3 & 4 coaches need only attend part (1) of the course, and then have a choice of taking an assessment, or going on to the 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Coaching.

The normal cost for this course is £118 per candidate but ETTA are able to offer a subsidised fee of £41 per candidate. Candidates should note there are additional fees associated with Safeguarding & Protecting Children and First Aid courses which are required as part of the overall L2 qualification. Candidates are only required to send £41 with their application form (the bursary is held centrally by the ETTA).
