Delivered by Steve Jump. Steve has been involved in the teaching of Physical Education at both primary and secondary level for the past 12 years and currently works as a Head of PE at Beaumont School in St Albans. He has also delivered as a visiting lecturer on the Initial Teacher Training course at the University of Bedfordshire. He has advised many Primary Schools throughout the UK in their development of Primary Physical Education curriculums and has supported numerous Primary and Secondary schools on how to assess effectively and with continuity.

The course is predominantly theoretical and will provide support in the following areas:
Ensuring the complete fulfilment of the NCPE
How to create an engaging and bespoke curriculum for your own pupils
How to achieve inclusivity in PE
Effective assessment techniques
How to ensure all your staff assess PE effectively and consistently

Centres also have the option to include direct reference to our Planning and Assessment publication within their training should they require at a small additional cost.
