This course is aimed at those who want to be able to deliver well organised tournaments.  Whether you are yet to run your own tournament or you have been helping out for a few years, then we are sure you will learn something from this course.

Learning Objectives

• Identify the role of the referee and the tournament organiser/secretary
• complete pre-event planning and preparation
• Schedule matches and do the draw, manually and using Tournament Software
• Identify the roles of the 'event team' and lead them to deliver a well organised high quality and enjoyable tournament
• Deal with queries competently and in a custmer friendly manner at the event
• Review, evaluate and report on the tournament
• Gain experience through supported practice, to become a first class referee
